Founded in 1997 by Robert McFall and fellow Scottish Chamber Orchestra members, in order to play adventurous music in adventurous places, Mr McFall's Chamber has always acheived that aim. With a constantly-expanding repertoire, stretching from King Crimson and Richard Thompson to the tango of Astor Piazzolla and modern classical composers such as Gavin Bryars, their outstanding musicianship and reputation for innovation has won them a devoted following over the last dozen years.

Most recently heard in Edinburgh in collaboration with Adventfest favourite Michael Marra, the basic string quartet line-up of 1st violin Greg Lawson, 2nd violin Robert McFall, viola Brian Schiele and cellist Su-a-Lee will be augmented by, amongst others, Chilean vocalist Valentina Montoya Martinez, performing the Chamber's repertoire of tango and other South American songs.
Don't miss what promises to be a sparkling finale to Adventfest 2009.
